Allie came with her family for her summer vacation to the place where Noah lived-Seabrook. Noah and Allie met at a carnival accompanied by their two friends.There, they both fall in love and spend the rest of their summer together but her parents did not like the idea of Noah and Allie being together.

Unfortunately she had to go with her parents leaving Noah behind…. Noah wrote a year of letters to her and waited for the reply but in vain because all the letters were received by Allie’s mom and Noah finally decided to move on after three years.

At that time The US was a part of the WORLD WAR II and Noah decided to join the army with his friend.Meanwhile,Allie started working as an army nurse and she met a man-Lon Hammond there who was a lawyer with a renowned family name.They both decided to get married but lately,Allie started feeling that Lon was all busy with his own life and started to think about Noah.Before marrying Lon she decided to visit the place where her parents lived and there read in the newspaper about the death of Noah’s father and………..

Noah was busy making up his own life and he worked at a place where wastes were being dealt with. Noah,when returned back to that place after leaving the army came to know the the owner had died and also he left him some money and equivalents.using them Noah bought his dream house at the place where he met Allie.He always wondered if Allie missed him and if she cared to visit him at least one time until one day when he was sitting out of his house over a bench on the street playing with his dog that………

They both talked about themselves for hours maintaining distance but little did they know that “The distance” won’t last for long. It was the first time they’d been together after a long time for so long.When Allie was leaving, Noah asked if she would visit him tomorrow… confused, she left and came by the following day.That was a bad weather and they both did boating,kissed,made love near the fireplace with the fascinating lightning when they were addressed by a knock on the door. That was Allie’s Mother,Anne who told Allie that called and asked if you visited Noah and he’d be there soon and also Anne gave all the letters written by Noah to Allie which she hid for long….. Allie changed and was all tensed and left and the next thing we know is that Noah and Allie got married and were blessed with four children.

Allie was suffering from memory loss. Initially it was mild but it got worse with time to the extent that she’d forget Noah,too sometimes. They both started living in a hospital wing and Noah started his routine of reading “THE NOTEBOOK”. He waited daily if she’d remember him and when she did they spent a quality time together but sooner or later she’d forget everything and this decided Noah’s doom.The last day envisaged is when Noah sneaks in Allie’s room and she recognizes him and tells him that she loves him and then they both sleep together…… :))
